कॉइनबेस ने 28 जनवरी के ब्लॉग पोस्ट में खुलासा किया कि देश के राष्ट्रीय प्रतिभूति आयोग (सीएनवी) ने कॉइनबेस के लिए एक वर्चुअल एसेट सर्विस प्रोवाइडर (वीएएसपी) पंजीकरण की अनुमति दी है, जिससे इसे अर्जेंटीना पेसो में स्थानीय भुगतान विधियों सहित विभिन्न सेवाएं प्रदान करना शुरू करने की अनुमति मिलती है।
प्रारंभ में, कॉइनबेस ने अप्रैल 2019 में अर्जेंटीना में क्रिप्टो-टू-क्रिप्टो रूपांतरण और व्यापार शुरू किया। कॉइनबेस के अनुसार, यह अब डिजिटल परिसंपत्तियों के लिए देश के कानूनी ढांचे के भीतर कार्य कर सकता है क्योंकि यह आने वाले महीनों में लगातार अधिक सेवाएं लॉन्च कर सकता है।
